Jacek has worked with athletes since 2012, initially supporting competitive swimmers and épée fencers, including athletes preparing for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in Poland in 2016, he moved to the UK, where he spent several years treating a broad range of MSK and orthopaedic conditions before joining Chelsea FC Women on a full-time basis.
For the past eight seasons, he has worked across Chelsea Women’s Academy and First Team environments, contributing to the medical, rehabilitation and performance provision within one of Europe’s leading women’s football programmes. Most recently, as Head of Performance within Chelsea Women’s Academy, he oversaw medical provision and helped shape the physical development and performance framework across the academy pathway.
His clinical focus is on ACL and lower-limb rehabilitation, post-surgical care, muscle and tendon injuries, and return to performance. He combines hands-on treatment with progressive, movement-led rehabilitation, using strength diagnostics and performance testing to guide decision-making throughout the process. His experience spans the full rehabilitation pathway, from early-stage recovery and gym-based reconditioning to outdoor rehabilitation and return to sport, with a particular interest in female athlete health, recovery and long-term physical resilience.
