How we can help

We do this through discussing a thorough history and finding out what your goals and expectations of the session are. This is done to help work towards meaningful improvements. We then move onto an objective assessment where we look at some of your lower back/hip movements and assess your pelvic floor strength and active tension. If required, we can also perform an ultrasound of your pelvic floor muscles to help give you biofeedback to what we find in this assessment.

From this information we formulate a treatment plan together which may include education of various strategies to manage and support some of these specific conditions, contracting/relaxing the pelvic floor, increasing general exercise tolerance, or some self- release work.

We understand that these are very sensitive topics and as always, we treat each individual case with the utmost confidentiality and respect.
