Emma is a specialist sports physiotherapist, having worked extensively with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, predominantly with the Team GB Diving, Gymnastics and Canoe Slalom teams. Emma’s highlight was working as a Team GB physiotherapist at the Paris 2024 Olympics which fulfilled a lifetime ambition she set herself when she was 12 years old.

Emma loves helping people return to the sport and hobbies that they love.  She is passionate about the importance of movement and exercise for all, and counts both as key components in her physiotherapy toolbox.

When not working as a physiotherapist, Emma is a motivational speaker and hosts the award winning podcast ‘When Life Gives You Lemons’ where she interviews high performing individuals who have been through adversity or trauma, but who have then come back stronger and gone on to achieve amazing things.  Both her motivational speaking and podcast focus on the power of resilience and mindset (also key components in her physiotherapy toolbox!).

Emma graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Physiotherapy, and went on to complete a Masters degree in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire.

In between her physio work and podcasting, Emma can be found either running through the streets of North London or running around after her three young sons.
