Matthew is an Australian Physiotherapist working with the team at Marylebone Health (CHHP) and across multiple sports in London. Currently, Matthew is completing a double Masters of Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy and High Performance Sport. Matthew’s passion of sports and his background in Rugby Union and Cricket have led him to undertake further studies bringing his personal and professional experience together.
Matthew is passionate is connecting with individuals through listening to their stories and helping to identify the gaps contributing to their pain experience. Matthew utilises various manual therapies in his practice, including dry needling, alongside rehabilitation exercises to allow for optimal recovery.
Matthew’s professional career includes treating within private practices in Sydney and working alongside multiple athletes, whilst also having the opportunity to work with international tennis players at numerous grand slams around the world. Furthermore, he has also spent two winter seasons in Japan treating snow related injuries.
Matthew’s clinical passion lies in chronic shoulder, lower back and neck pain (especially related to concussion). He also has a background in male pelvic health, from recovery post prostate cancer diagnosis or an athlete with pelvic related pain.
Matthew’s hobbies in Australia included surfing, swimming and spearfishing and more recently some additional land based European activities and lots of travelling whilst living in London.
