Performance Coaching is a model we use to help the individual achieve their goals. When you start your Human Health & Performance Program, it is common to set your goals once the initial evaluation has taken place. Staying on track to achieve and reach those goals can be a challenge in modern society. This program is designed to support you and where appropriate coach you to stay on track, to thrive under pressure, and to recognise barriers that may hinder your progress. We follow a four step approach to this:
Understand
Understand your performance preference and behavioural flexibility.
Grow
Explore and develop your ability to better understand your energy levels
Thrive
We will introduce a further profile to provide greater insight into three areas
Review
A self directed review of the previous year, and presented to a chosen panel
The Four Phases in Detail
Each aspect of the program can be seen in more detail here
So that we can best understand your working style, we will initiate a profile to help you to understand your performance preference and behavioural flexibility.
This will be integrated into your personal goals and we will look at key strategies to help you to achieve this.
From planning your diary and regular discussions / meetings to build achievable targets into your working life, to flexing your program to allow you to continue to move forward.
The aim of this phase is to increase your understanding of how you can work around normal daily challenges and still achieve your goals.
In this phase, we will explore and develop your ability to better understand your energy levels and how best to utilise them on a regular basis.
The emphasis will shift a little more to you to direct your program, and how you can use your energy to move across different performance behavioural styles depending on the context and when you may be under pressure in your working and personal life.
During this phase we will introduce a further profile to provide greater insight into three areas:
- The underlying principles behind your decision making processes;
- How to create the right environments to allow your brain to thrive and to maximise your skills
- Enabling your understanding of others to allow you to become more effective as well as to enhance their performance under pressure.
This phase can be optional. It entails a self directed review of the previous year, and presented to a chosen panel, who will explore all the possible opportunities and their impacts upon your performance practices.
This then presents an opportunity for how you will continue to make changes in your performance practices to continue to improve your productivity in work, health, fitness, and your personal life.
Management
This will entail monthly meetings, either in person or over the phone to discuss the travel arrangements and commitments in the following month, so that all training plans and schedules can be modified accordingly. If there are any external practitioners involved in your care, this will also incorporate their management and communication to ensure that everyone is following the same plan.
